The journey of a retired boxing coach who is on a mission to train women on the nuances of the sports.

Adi Tomar (R. Madhavan), a promising boxer finds himself at the receiving end of the dirty politics within the Indian boxing scenario. Shattered by his loss, he turns cynical but some loyal friends somehow bring him back to boxing as the coach of the not-so-commendable Indian women’s boxing team. Following a heated but honest argument with an old adversary, Adi is sent off to Chennai where he is determined to search for a girl who has the required passion for the sport and fire in her belly. His search ends at Madhi (Ritika Singh), in whom Adi spots a champion and who is in fact the sister of an aspiring boxing student, Laxmi. Adi tries to earn her trust, tame her impetuosity and finally make her believe in her potential, all this in just nine months before the world championship. Thus begins an uneasy partnership between a man who loves his sport and a girl who loves her freedom. Passing through a series of outbursts, sibling jealousy and dismissals, this is one story that seems to be going towards an impossible dream. Is Adi right about Madhi’s potential or does she let him down too?
