A young NRI staying in London, who previously had an eventful stay and marriage in India, returns to find that he has fallen in love with a Haryanvi athlete who looks exactly like his wife.
Manu (R Madhavan) is an NRI businessman who is married to Tanu (Kangana Ranaut), a village girl from Haryana. After the marriage, they had returned to London to start their marital lives, but Manu experiences a drastic change in his wife. So to calm her down and rekindle their love, Manu and Tanu return to her maternal place. But the whole idea backfires as Manu falls in love with Kusum (Kangana Ranaut), a National level athlete who is his wife's lookalike. Manu initially discloses this to his best friend Pappi (Deepak Dobriyal) who warns him about the consequences. He tells him that bigamy is not taken lightly in India, if it reaches to that, unlike in London. Manu himself knows that Tanu, who has become a tyrant and helicopter wife, will never let him divorce her. Even though the odds are against him, Manu resumes meeting Kusum and seriously contemplates a second marriage. Everything goes fine when he doesn't think about the repercussions of his actions, until one day Raja Awasthi (Jimmy Shergill), Tanu's ex-boyfriend returns to haunt Manu. Raja had previously sent his men to get rid of Manu before the marriage. And this time, he has come to support his ex-girlfriend because even if she is married to Manu, Tanu's life matters highly to him.
