With the vibrant and colourful Pink City of Jaipur as a backdrop, this film depicts the ideas of love and relationships in today’s generation and pits that against the concept of a marriage in small-town India.
On the threshold of marriage, Raghu (Sushant Singh Rajput) bumps into the carefree Gayatri (Parineeti Chopra). Impressed with her free-spirited demeanour, he flees his wedding. A couple of weeks later, he stumbles upon Gayatri. The smitten Raghu Ram starts dating her and they eventually decide to culminate their relationship in marriage. The big day arrives but the bride does a classic run, leaving Raghu understandably confused and shaken. At this point Tara crosses his path once again. The one thing she has on her mind is revenge, which slowly but surely changes to attraction and transitions to love. The film cuts to the scene where Raghu is on the verge of asking Tara to marry him - his old flame Gayatri enters the frame and the fickle-minded Raghu finds himself gravitating towards her one more time. Marriage is on the cards once again but the tables turn. Both Raghu and Gayatri realise that although they both love each other, the concept of marriage is one that they cannot live with. Finally, after discovering what they both really want, they decide that a live-in relationship is best suited to their psyche.
