In its prequel, ‘Saheb’ alias Aditya Pratap Singh (Jimmy Sheirgill) loses his legs in the climax, eventually becoming a disabled person. In this part, he is a wheelchair-bound, wicked person and seems to be more annoyed towards his seductress wife Madhavi Devi (Mahie Gill), who is now an MLA. He is seen trying to get over from his physical disability and over his disloyal wife. However, the relation between Aditya and Madhabi may have broken to shambles but she has a dark, deep and daunting relationship with alcohol. On the other hand, the Gangster named Indarjeet Singh (Irrfan Khan) also has royal blood but has lost everything. He agrees to settle scores with Saheb, whose ancestors destroyed the former’s family reputation. Another prominent character is ‘Ranjana’ who is an ambitious, modern girl, madly in love with Indarjeet Singh. The storyline changes when ‘Aditya’ falls in love with Ranjana and forces her father ‘Birendra’ (Raj Babbar) for their marriage. What ensues is a live chess game between the three characters, where the winner and survivor takes everything.
