Major Vikram Singh, a special Indian Army officer spearheads a covert operation in Jaffna. The backdrop is the Sri Lankan Civil War during the time when Rajiv Gandhi, India’s Prime Minister was brutally assassinated.



Major Vikram Singh’s (John Abraham) mission is to disrupt the LTF rebels. In the pursuit of his mission he finds himself embroiled in military and rebel tactics. In the midst of all this chaos he encounters Jaya Sahni (Nargis Fakhri), the British Journo who is on a mission of her own - to unravel the truth behind the Civil War. This is when he brings to light the assassination conspiracy, wherein a former Indian Prime Minister was meant to bite the dust. The movie aims to depict the Civil War situation as it existed then in Sri Lanka. The chaos, the political upheaval, the manner in which India got dragged into the storm and the undercurrent of a hidden motive that never surfaces till the very end.
