Chulbul Pandey, an outlaw and a cop has to put up with Chedi Singh, a scheming politician and his pest of a brother, Makkhi while attempting to secure his lady love as well.

Chulbul ‘Robin Hood’ Pandey (Salman Khan) is a police officer who prefers to twist the law as he sees fit. He breaks up a bank robbery and keeps the money for himself. He is in love with a village belle Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha). His brother Makkhi (Arbaaz Khan) wants to marry Nirmala whose father doesn’t approve of their marriage. Chedi Singh (Sonu Sood) is a corrupted politician who tries to bribe Chulbul into working for him, to which Chulbul flatly declines and angers Chedi. Makkhi steals some of Chulbul’s money to finance his wedding and impress his father-in-law. Chulbul realises what he has done and marries Rajjo in an intimate, small ceremony which shames Nirmala’s father and causes him to cancel the lavish wedding. Chedi Singh tries to get Chulbul suspended by using Makkhi against him. Chulbut teams up with Dayal (Anupam Kher), an opposing politician to bring down Chedi. Chulbul sabotages Chedi’s business and openly challenges him. Chedi gets Makkhi to deliver a crate of mangoes to Dayal’s house but it contains a bomb. The bomb explodes as soon as Makkhi leaves the house and kills Dayal. Chedi even forces Makkhi to agree to kill Chulbul but Makkhi goes to Chulbul and tells him of Chedi’s schemes. For the climax, Chulbul arrives with his police contingent to arrest Chedi. In a battle of brawn, Chulbul subdues Chedi and chokes him to death. He is revealed to have killed Makkhi and Chulbul’s mother. Chulbul gets Makkhi married to Nirmala and Rajjo informs him that he is to be a father soon.
