Sohail Sen is an Indian film music composer, musician and singer who is primarily associated with Bollywood films. He is best known for his music in What’s Your Rashee and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Belonging to a family of musicians, Sohail was attracted to music since the tender agr of 6. He started playing tabla and went on to learn other instruments too. He can play the piano, rhythm instruments and percussion and is also a trained classical singer. After a long spell of nine years, assisting his composer father Samir Sen, he made his debut in Bollywood with the film, Sirf (2008), but due to the film delays, his work went unnoticed. His breakthrough came with the film, What’s Your Rashee? (2009) where he composed thirteen songs and received acclaim for it. He went on to compose tracks for major commercial Bollywood films like Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) and Ek Tha Tiger (2012). His latest project included the Ranveer-Arjun starrer, Gunday (2014).
