Biography

Smita Hai is an Indian actress who primarily works in TV soaps and Bollywood films in supporting roles. Smita Hai was born in Mumbai. She has worked in many TV series like the popular show Crime Patrol. She made her debut in Bollywood with a small role in Bhai Bhai (1997) and went on to work in numerous films like Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai (2000), Salaam-E-Ishq (2007), Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii (2007), Victory (2009), Chal Pichchur Banate Hain (2012). Her latest projects include a role in the film, The Perfect Girl (2015). Balwaan Storyline: A honest and helpful police officer gets into a conflict with a notorious merciless gangster which leads to vicious situations. Plot: Vijay is a young boy who lives in shabby conditions, with his mother and sister. He cannot stand injustice, hence gets into a fistfight with every person committing it. On an occasion, when a bunch of thugs try raping a girl, An adult, Vijay (Sunil Shetty) enters the scenario and saves the girls. In his college, he meets Deepa (Divya Bharati) and falls in love with her. Due to his knack of being just, he tries to avenge his friend’s death which was caused by a corrupt police officer. He starts training to become a police officer, but faces a lot of politics. His honesty becomes a pain for gangster Bhai (Danny Denzongpa), who murders people and rapes girls. Bhai plans to teach Arjun a lesson, and hence declares in the community that no one would practice any interactions with Arjun and his family. Due to the aura of Bhai, people obey his treacherous activities. Initially unfazed by this, Arjun continues to perform the rightful duties of a cop. On one day, his mother dies due to illness and his sister is raped. Arjun gets angry and decides to avenge their death. Does Arjun get his revenge? Or does Bhai adopt other tactics to trap Arjun, is where the story unfolds.
