Biography

Siddharth is an Indian cinematographer, best known for the award winning film, Queen. He has also worked on the critically acclaimed films Titli and Haraamkhor. Born in New Delhi, Siddharth attended Father Angel School and MBICEM. He then did a Motion Picture Photography Specialization from the reputed Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata. He also attended the Asian Film Academy and Budapest Cinematography Masterclass, 2011. After a short stint as a wildlife photographer, he moved to Mumbai and worked in the camera and electrical department for films like Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World (2005), The Forest (2009), Trishna (2011), Kahaani (2012) and The lunchbox (2013). He also worked as a cinematographer for Peddlers (2012), Queen (2014) and Masterchef (2014, short). Queen earned him his first Filmfare Award. His latest works include Titli (2015) and Haraamkhor (2016). Apart from short films and feature films, he has worked on commercials for HDFC, OLX, Haywards, Kissanpur, Spice, Shaadi.com, Pepsi, Kurkure, TVS and more.
