Siddhanth Kapoor is an Indian film actor, assistant director and disc jockey associated with Bollywood and is best known for his work in films like Shootout at Wadala and Ugly. Born in Mumbai, to actor Shakti Kapoor, Siddhanth studied acting and filmmaking at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Beginning as a disc jockey (DJ), Siddhanth worked as an assistant director to Priyadarshan on films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), Chup Chup Ke (2007) and Dhol (2007). With initial plans of debuting in the Satte Pe Satta remake, which later got shelved, Siddhanth debuted in a notable role in the ensemble cast starrer, Shootout at Wadala (2013), a sequel to Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007). His role was critically acclaimed and got him recognition. He later assisted Anurag Kashyap in the critically acclaimed Ugly (2014) where he also played a small role. His latest performance is in a role in the Aishwarya Rai starrer Jazbaa (2015). Siddhanth is the elder brother of successful actress, Shraddha Kapoor and the nephew of actresses, Tejaswini Kolhapure and Padmini Kolhapure.
