Shravan - HR's friend (as Shravan)
Shravan Rathod is a veteran music director in the Bollywood film Industry. Together as the duo, Nadeem-Sharavan, they have produced chartbuster music over the years. Shravan Rathod joined Nadeem Saifi in the year 1972, with Bhojpuri film, Dangal (1979) being their first film. Their association became one of the most successful music directors of the 1990s till early 2000’s. Three particular instruments had special importance in their music: the bansuri, the sitar and the shehnai. In all their songs, their favourite singers had been Kumar Sanu, Abhijeet, Udit Narayan, Anuradha Paudwal, Babul Supriyo, Alka Yagnik, SP Balasubramanyam, Pankaj Udhas, Nitin Mukesh, Hariharan and Sonu Nigam. They debuted with Hindi film, Maine Jeena Seekh Liya (1981) but got breakthrough recognition with the film, Aashiqui (1990). Some of their hit songs are "Ek Sanam Chahiye", "Nazar Ke Samane", "Dheere Dheere Se", "Ab Tere Bin Jee Lenge Hum" and many more. The music of this film was grand success and earned them the Filmfare Best Music Director Award. Continuing the success of previous film, they directed music for film Saajan (1991), all its songs broke all the records and became popular public demand. They also received Filmfare Best Music Director Award for Saajan (1992), Deewana (1992) and Raja Hindustani (1996). His future projects include composing as a duo with the film, Deewana 2 (2016) and Saajan 2 (2016).
