Sanjay Gupta also wrote and directed noir films, Musafir (2004) and Zinda (2006), while also turning producer for Plan (2003) and Dus Kahaniyaan (2007). More success awaited him as co-producer with Balaji Telefilms on smash hits, Shootout At Lokhandwala in 2007 and Shootout At Wadala in 2013. His latest film is the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starred Jazbaa (2015), which also stars Irrfan Khan, Atul Kulkarni, Shabana Azmi and Jackie Shroff among others.
