Sachiin J Joshi is an Indian film actor, producer and entrepreneur associated with Bollywood and is best known for his roles in Aazan and Jackpot. Born and brought up in Pune, Sachiin is the son of successful businessman Jagdish Mohanlal Joshi who founded the JMJ group of companies. Following his father’s footsteps, Sachiin joined his father’s company and is currently the Vice President of JMJ companies. After finding success in business, Sachiin decided to venture into acting and debuted as the lead in the Telugu film, Mounamelanoyi (2002) followed by Ninu Choodaka Nenundalenu (2002) and Orey Pandu (2005). He made his Bollywood debut with the film, Aazan (2011) which was one of the most expensive films of that year and was also co-produced by him but it turned out to be a box office dud. He also appeared in films like Mumbai Mirror (2013) and Jackpot (2013) which were box office disasters. In 2014. he was roped in to play the lead in the Telugu film, Nee Jathaga Nenundali (2014) which was the remake of Aashiqui 2. His latest projects include a role in bilingual film, Mogali Puvvu (2015) and co-producing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's comeback film, Jazbaa (2015). Sachiin is married to actress Urvashi Sharma (now Raina S Joshi) and together they have a daughter, Samaira. Apart from acting and business, Sachiin is a sports enthusiast, fitness freak and a noted philanthropist where he supports organisations like Big Brother and PETA.
