He rose to prominence as the CEO of UTV Motion Pictures when he worked with hit films like Rang De Basanti (2006), KhoslaKaGhosla (2006), A Wednesday! (2009), Fashion (2008), Paan Singh Tomar (2012), Barfi! (2012), Kai Po Che! (2013), and Chennai Express (2013). In 2014, he quit the entertainment and media business to concentrate on philanthropy.
