Raveena Tandon is a popular Indian film and television actress. She has enjoyed an illustrious career since her debut in 1991, and remains one of the most famous heroines of modern Indian cinema. Tandon has won a National Film award, two Filmfare awards, and several other film awards throughout her career.

Career -

Raveena Tandon began her career as a model. She made her Bollywood debut in Patthar Ke Phool (1991) which won her many awards. She is often cast opposite actors Govinda, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar. Some of her most successful films are Dilwale (1994), Mohra (1994), Laadla (1994), Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), Dulhe Raja (1998), Daman (2001), Aks (2001), and Satta (2003). Other than mainstream Bollywood, Tandon has also worked in arthouse films and parallel cinema.

For her role in Daman, she received her first and only National Film award for Best Actress.

Tandon has also worked for television and Southern language films, and occasionally produces films.

Personal Life -

Raveen Tandon was born in Mumbai to filmmaker Ravi Tandon and his wife. She is married to Bollywood film distributor Anil Thadani, and together has two children. Tandon also has two adopted girls.
