Rajesh Roshan is a veteran Bollywood music composer and the brother of renowned director-actor Rakesh Roshan. was born on 24 May 1955 inBorn in Mumbai, , Maharashtra, India. HeRajesh Roshan made his debut as a music composer with the film, Kunwara Baap (1974) isrenowned Hindi cinema music composer.. He went on to give superhit music in films like Julie (1975), Des Pardes (1978), Mr. Natwarlal (1979), Yaarana (1981), Khatta Meetha (1981), Jaisi Karni Vaisi Bharni (1989) among others. He also worked in all of his brother’s directorial ventures and provided hit music in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2000), Koi… Mil Gaya (2003), Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013).He won the FIlmfare Award for Bes Music Director for Julie and Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. He is the son of Hindi film composer Roshan and brother of acclaimed film director and producer Rakesh Roshan. He is popular for composingvarious songs like Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2000), Koi Mil Gaya (2003), Krrish (2006) and Kites (2010). The film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai received significant success and Rajesh also won the Filmfare Award for Best Music. He received stardom and fame with the music score for film Julie (1975). This film won him the Filmfare Best Music Director Award.He got his first break by Mehmood in film Kunwara Baap (1974). He also composed music "Jaane Tamanna" for the internationally acclaimed film Valley of Flowers (2006). Later he came with three back to back hit films: Des Pardes (1978), Man Pasand (1980), and Lootmaar (1980).His popular song "Mungda...Mungada..." continued to be a landmark in cabaret songs in Bollywood. Playback singer Udit Narayan recorded his first Hindi song "Mil Gaya Mil Gaya" from the film Unees-Bees (1980) with acclaimed singer Mohammad Rafi and composed by Rajesh Roshan. He has a son named Eshaan and a daughter named Pashmina.
