Jeet Ganguly is an Indian film music composer who is associated with Bollywood and Bengali films. He is best known for his music in Aashiqui 2 and Singham Returns. Born as Chandrajeet Ganguly, Jeet Ganguly is a music director and singer of Bengali as well as Hindi movies. Jeet hails from a Bengali family and brought up in a rich cultural heritage of Kolkata making him enter the music industry at a tender age of three. Jeet did his graduation from Kolkata University and has received trained in Indian classical music. Apart from classical music he is also attached to Jazz and rock music owing him to take training in western music by the famous Jazz artist and Guitarist- Karlton Kitto. He made his Bollywood debut with the film, Tere Liye (2001) and bagged a big project with Yash Raj Films’Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai (2002). Jeet went on to compose superhit music with Raaz 3 (2012), Blood Money (2012), Aashiqui 2 (2013 ) and Khamoshiyaan (2015) among others. Jeet was also awarded with IIFA Awards for best music director of the year 2014. His future projects include composing music for films like Ishqedarriyan (2015), Phir Se…(2015) and Ishq Junnon (2015) among others.
