Devendra Murdeshwar is an Indian film editor who has worked on many popular films like Murder 2, Jism 2, Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain. Devendra Murdeshwar is a well known editor in the Indian film industry. Murdeshwar began his career as an editor with Pooja Bhatt’s movie Holiday (2006), which was a remake of the American movie Dirty Dancing. After his entry in Hindi cinema, Murdeshwar edited a string of movies including Corporate (2006), Traffic Signal (2007), Dhoka (2007), Jannat: In Search for Heaven… (2008), Fashion (2008), Raaz - The Mystery Continues (2009), Baabarr (2009), Jail (2009), Kajraare (2010), Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji (2011), Murder 2 (2011), Zindagi Tere Naam (2012), Blood Money (2012), Jannat 2 (2012), Jism 2 (2012), Heroine (2012), Table No. 21 (2013), Murder 3 (2013), Saare Jahaan Se Mehnga (2013), Aashiqui 2 (2013), O Teri (2014), Ek Villain (2014), 3 AM: A Paranormal Experience (2014), Alone (2015) and Hamari Adhuri Kahaani (2015). Murdeshwar has also edited a Marathi movie by the name of Mala Aai Vhhaychy! (2010), which won a National Award under the Best Feature Film in Marathi category. He has also edited Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming film Calendar Girls, which will be releasing on 7th August, 2015.
