Bhushan Kumar is an Indian film and music producer and the current Chairman and Managing Director of Super Cassettes Industries Ltd, popularly known as T-Series. Born in Delhi, Bhushan Kumar took over the reigns of T-Series after the death of his father and owner, Gulshan Kumar. He went on to become the Chairman and Managing Director of the company and diversified its business. Bhushan Kumar and the company T-Series are responsible for producing and distributing blockbuster music over the years of several films not only in India but in many other countries. Bhushan recently produced the re-created music video of the cult song, Dheere Dheere Se (2015) starring Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor and was sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh as a tribute and in the loving memory of his father, Gulshan Kumar. After enabling Bollywood music in 24 countries over 5 continents, Bhushan also ventured in producing feature films. He made his debut as a film producer with the musical romance, Tum Bin (2001) which was a semi-hit at the box office. He went on to produce several hit films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), Patiala House (2011), Ready (2011), Aashiqui 2 (2013), Bhoothnath Returns (2014), Hate Story 2 (2014) and Baby (2015). His latest projects include producing films like All Is Well (2015) and Hate Story 3 (2015). Bhushan is married to film director and former actress, Divya Khosla Kumar who made her directorial debut with the film, Yaariyan (2014) under her husband’s banner and together they have a son.
