Anjum Rajabali in an Indian film screenwriter and actor who is associated with Bollywood. He is best known for for his works in films like China Gate, Aarakshan, Satyagraha among others. Born in Talaja. Anjum Rajabali started his career as an associate scriptwriter for the critically acclaimed film Drohkaal (1994). He made his debut as a screenwriter with the film, China Gate (1998) and went on to write for films like Ghulam (1998), Pukar (2000), The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002) among others. He started being a script consultant for Prakash Jha with the film, Apaharan (2005) and went on to collaborate on Jha’s future directorial ventures, Raajneeti (2010), Aarakshan (2011), Chakravyuh (2012) and more recently in the film, Satyagraha (2013). Anjum is also the Head of Screenwriting at Whistling Woods as well as the Honorary Head of Screenplay Writing at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), a course that was founded by him in the year 2004. He made his acting debut with the film, Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love (1996) and worked in small roles in films like Ghajini (2008), Turning 30 (2011) and Time Machine (2014). Besides a script consultant on various films, he also conducted coveted workshops, seminars and conferences on screenwriting.
