Aarti Bajaj is an Indian film editor associated with Bollywood and is best known for editing films like Jab We Met, Dev D and Love Aaj Kal among many more. Aarti Bajaj made her debut as an editor with TV series, Last Train to Mahakali (1999) and her film debut with the unreleased film, Paanch (2003) followed by the controversial film, Black Friday (2004). She later went on to edit superhit films like Jab We Met (2007), Dev D (2009), Love Aaj Kal (2009), No One Killed Jessica (2010) and Rockstar (2011) among others. Her works in films like Ugly (2013) and Highway (2014) earned her Filmfare nominations for Best Editing along with Screen nominations for works in the films, Aamir (2008) and Love Aaj Kal. She also co-produced the cult film, Udaan (2010) for which she along with other producers were nominated for Best Children’s Film at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards (2011). Her latest projects include editing the films, Tamasha (2015) and Love Shagun (2016). Aarti was married to famous director, Anurag Kashyap in 2003 till they divorced in 2009.
